Camping

Poinsett State Park - is located north of Lake Marion in the Manchester State Forest. The primitive camping area is near the top of the hill in the middle of the map. view topozone trail map

Congaree Swamp National Monument - is located about half way between Columbia and Charleston. Cedar Creek offers a great canoe trip. view topozone trail map

Dreher Island State Park - is located on the north side of Lake Murray, West of Columbia. view topozone trail map

Santee State Park - is located North of Charleston about half way to Columbia. view topozone trail map

Givhans Ferry State Park - is located West of Summerville on the Edisto River. This is a good place to canoe the Edisto River from. view topozone trail map

Table Rock State Park - is in the North West part of the state. From camp site to summit is over 2000 feet of elevation change. view topozone trail map

King's Mountain State Park - is in the Northern part of the state. A great place for both a five mile hike for young scouts and a 16 mile overnight hike for older scouts. view topozone trail map
